ROMAN THEME

here is a spectacular decor for a nighttime Roman(or Greek) themed party.

Built in a large 50m wide blackout marquee with starlit roof to give the impression of dining under the stars.

As the marquee was built on a slope, we used this to create a tiered floor through which ran a central aquaduct of gently tumbling water which effecetively divided the marquee into two halves. These were linked by low bridges, marked out by pairs of statues. Around the room were identical Ionic columns topped with trailing foliage. The final piece of theatre was hidden from view. In the foliage, on top of the columns, we had trained owls and eagles with 6' wingspans. On command, these birds flew, over the heads of the guests, to land on each statue !!
