There are many variants on this theme. Here is one that takes a Monochrome art gallery/Hollywood Hall of fame from the Black and white era approach

In this we were fortunate that the room was blackout. Used was a mixture of statues, solid flats and silk paintings

The entrance into dinner

From this point, guests entered the World of Colour- see Colour themed party but we could continue with the black and white look for dinner as we did in this event
